About Karli
I have always loved telling stories through art.
I grew up in San Diego, California where I was immersed in the performing arts by age eight. Theatre, dance, and music are all art forms which continue to shape and inspire my vision as a photographer today.
My experience as a performance photographer led me to find and pursue my passion for wedding photography. The joy I find in capturing the nuances, emotions, and details of a couple's love story, each and every one unique, is equal to that of capturing a story on stage.
I have been fortunate to photograph for the following performing arts organizations and publications:
San Diego Opera, Moonlight Amphitheatre, California Center for the Arts Escondido, Cygnet Theatre, MOXIE Theatre, The Glimmerglass Festival, Curtis Institute of Music, Miller Theatre at Columbia University, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Apollo Theater, New York Festival of Song, and The New York Times arts section.
I am currently based in San Diego, California with an interest in capturing the art of story-telling coast to coast.
